Varmland.se aims to help you to plan your visit as a tourist, to help you who are concidering moving to or establishing a business in Värmland.

Responsible for the content is the County Administrative Board of Värmland, Visit Värmland and Region Värmland.

Technology

The website is based on an open source solution and is built in Drupal 6 +, HTML5.

All content on events and tourism information (Stay, Eat, To Do, Meetings & Incentives) are retrieved from an external source. As of this is the free-text search divided into three parts: Pages/Articles, Stay/Eat/To Do and Events. If you do not get any result of your search, try clicking the tabs Stay/Eat/To Do or Events and you'll find more search results.

Recommended browsers are Internet Explorer 7 +, Firefox 4 +, Chrome, and Safari 4 +. This site contains javascript to handle the display of maps, slide shows and sharing features, among other things. We recommend that visitors allow Javascript running in your browser for the best visitor experience, but of course the website works even without javascript.
