SFI – Swedish for immigrants

Swedish lessons for immigrants is a basic course in the Swedish language for adults whose first language isn't Swedish. Swedish lessons for immigrants is a separate form of school.

People are entitled to study SFI if they're adults (from 1 July of the year in which they turn 16), if they don't have a basic knowledge of Swedish and if they have a civil registration entry in a municipality.
