Validation

Validation of skills involves having knowledge and experience tested, evaluated, documented and recognised. A large number of professional fields in Värmland offer opportunities for validation.

Validation can take place against nationally established criteria, either formal in the form of course syllabi and grading criteria, or non-formal in the form of established skills requirements for industries. Validation can result in grades and/or work certificates.

Validation can also chart guidelines for other measures, such as advanced training or matching against a local labour market.
