Police in the county of Värmland

The Värmland police authority is one of 21 police authorities in Sweden. The management team can be found at the police station in Karlstad.

The police in Värmland have around 600 staff, of whom 440 are police officers. Its operations are divided into management, authority staff and an operational department. There are four police areas and countywide resources within the operational department.

Their main job is to work to promote the safety and security of everyone. Their objective is to reduce crime and improve safety and security. The police also aim to help make our roads safer places to be.
