Care for the whole person
Selma Spa+ in Sunne was the first spa hotel in Scandinavia. You can come here to relax, eat delicious food, and enjoy a gorgeous facial, foot treatment or massage. This is the place for inspiring, informative theme days on lifestyle, exercise and diet. Or to help you find a direction in your new life when you retire! Care for "the whole person" forms the basis for a range of activities which encourage more than 35 000 guests to visit every year.

"We're continuing to develop as our guests develop. A lot of people come here regularly," says Hotel Director Anders Pertun. "Now you can come to Selma Spa+ for a few intensive, informative training days. We offer sports and exercise events, yoga and dance. And we're kitting out the hotel for new activities.
"As well as using our gym, where you can exercise on your own, every day we schedule up to ten training group sessions run by a leader," says Anders Pertun. "You can take everything entirely at your own pace during your stay here."
Selma Spa+ also wants to make it a bit easier for companies and organisations to really considerately thank employees who are about to retire. They've worked together with the former captain of the national Swedish athletics team to create Prime Time – a spa experience to get people off to a really good start as they embark upon retirement. Prime Time provides useful information on diet, the body and soul, and exercise to help them enjoy a good life.
"Few pensioners nowadays want to sit down and do nothing. And not many of them want yet more presents hanging about in their cupboards and on their shelves," says Anders Pertun. "We think Prime Time will be a highly appreciated gift from their employers."
