Breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. A simple meal for the day or a huge meal for a celebration. Restaurants, inns and cafés offer a range of dishes inspired by all the corners of the globe.

Värmland is truly devoted to its food! Here, ingredients from the farms, the forest and all waterways have always formed a basis both for traditional cooking and when we celebrate all our festivals and anniversaries throughout the year. This is still very apparent from the menus at many restaurants, conference facilities and manor houses. A number of small-scale food producers have cafés and serve lunches in the shops on their farms.

And you could also try the local Värmland dish: nävgröt med fläsk. This is often served at various summer events and home town days.
